so my nine year old son decided he wanted to try baseball this season! what a surprise for us! it is like a brand new world for us, we have never been much of a baseball family. we are learning tons of new things, like for instance, when a team is losing they turn their hats inside out, call them rally hats, and go on to win the game. i swear this is what happened. anyhow, we are realizing why baseball is such a beloved game, anything can happen! (i know, this is a little late to realize this) so, after this ballgame, we went to a drive in! yes, there are still drive in movie theaters out there and if you are lucky enough to live in the Bay Area, i would highly recommend getting yourself and your family into pjs, packing a bunch of cozy blankets and popcorn and heading out to the Solano Drive In. my family had a great weekend and we felt so dang american the whole time...yee-haw!
