front page Etsy...woo-hoo!

Hey! You know what? This stoked me out! All of a sudden these chalkboard blocks started selling, then I realized they had made it to the front page of Etsy. I have been feeling a little blue lately but today things are turning around...a reminder to keep on trying.

introducing the new header....wah lah!

a nice person named ashley (find her here) contacted me via my etsy shop and inquired about a trade. she offered to make this blog a new header for some chalkboard blocks, she plans to make them into a weekly calendar. anyhow, i have always longed to have something tangible to trade with other people for services, goods, etc. and i am really happy at the way this worked out. so, anyone out there who can trade a hawaiian vacation for two for some chalk blocks??? HAHAHAHAHA (but seriously, anyone?) 

Bay Area Etsy Treasury

ok, so my blue bird coasters were featured in an Etsy Treasury that included all local Bay Area people!!! YAY AREA...represent! anyhow, i am basically computer illiterate so if there is anyone out there that can tell me how i could have posted this screen to my blog in its full and complete glory, i would really really really appreciate it!

oops, these are tiny tiny pics but believe me, this is gigantically cool! my 12 year old niece has just opened her own etsy shop http://www.ducktape.etsy.com/ ...everything has been handcrafted by her out of ductape!!! I have ordered two of the wallets...pictures to come!

my really good guy husband made this for me. some girls might want flowers or jewelry but this is what floats my boat these days...

always kiss me goodnight

this is painting is a custom order through my Etsy shop! a very nice member of the Etsy community contacted me and asked me to help create a vision she had in mind for her toddler boy's room. together we came up with this and i really like it! i like the saying she wanted on it. "always kiss me goodnight"...i really hope my kiddos always want to kiss me goodnight, and good morning, and good afternoon, and for just about every reason there is. a kiss from your own kiddo must be the most valuable precious thing on this earth...at least i think so!
